WHAT IS COVERED?
Medical and related expenses: If you (or a covered family member) become ill or have an accident while traveling, we will pay for:
- All necessary emergency physician treatment/surgery and the necessary supplies and tests associated with such treatment.
- Reasonable and necessary hospital and ambulance service
charges
- Air ambulance (or similar service) transportation to return to the U.S. (including nurse and/or physician), if medically necessary.
- In the event of death, cost to return the remains to former domicile.
- The cost of a family member to visit, when deemed necessary by medical advice.
- Funeral expenses abroad or repatriation of the body.

Premiums vary depending on the length of the stay and which plan option is chosen. The longer the stay, the more cost effective the rates. We also offer special discounted insurance rates for students going abroad for study or
